Married at First Sight Trailer Teases Unexpected Relationship Twists During Homestay Week

A trailer for Homestay Week on Married At First Sight teases relationship twists and turns for at least two of the couples.

A promo released on Monday shows the remaining participants leaving the MAFS apartments and returning to their real homes.

After a rocky start to the experience, Selina Chhaur and Cody Bromley are getting along as he promises “a few things going” for his wife.

Meanwhile, Jack Millar asks his “wife” Domenica Calarco what shoes he should wear on the farm for their rural stay.

‘Should I wear RMs on the farm?’ he says.

– Yeah, but you know what my father wears on the farm? Crocs,” she replies.

Relationship expert John Aiken then hints at some relationship twists and turns.

“Foster families are an essential part of the Married At First Sight experience,” he said in an on-camera interview.

‘Spending a week in the world of a new partner, [and] meeting their friends and family can be a transformative experience,” he adds.

He says homestays can either present “serious challenges” or be a “breath of fresh air” for couples struggling with the experience.

It comes after Sunday night’s commitment ceremony drew 1.076 million Tube viewers for Channel Nine.

The episode was particularly dramatic, as it saw cheaters Daniel Holmes and Carolina Santos expose their romance.

After asking if they could re-enter the experience as a new couple, the other cast members staged a walkout, and the pundits quickly ended the request.

The program even beat out the major news shows on Seven and Nine.

Married At First Sight continues Monday at 7:30 p.m. on Channel Nine and 9Now
