Next iPhone 14 Pro design leaks online, ahead of official launch

Following the introduction of the popular iPhone 13 series in September 2021, US smartphone giant Apple is gearing up to unveil a new lineup, the iPhone 14 series, likely in the last quarter of the year, as speculation from Apple reveals. October 2022.

However, ahead of the official launch of the upcoming iPhone 14, the smartphone has received several speculations ranging from its design to features and system software. As we just found out via a Twitter post today, the design of the upcoming iPhone 14 pro has been leaked online ahead of the official launch.

Imaging of the leaked images shows that the upcoming iPhone 14 pro will come with cutouts and a larger camera module and a display panel gives users a very clear preview of the new pill and hole camera and face cutouts IDs that could replace the display notch.

The leaked design indicates that Apple has mopped up the Samsung S10 and S10+ in the punch holes, with slightly slimmer bezels and uses 19.5:9 and 20:9 aspect ratios, respectively. With that, the upcoming iPhone 14 versus Google Pixel 7 as a head-to-head this fall looks like quite an interesting battle.

Recall that last month we reported that the upcoming iPhone 14 Pro, along with the 14 Pro Max, is expected to feature a more prominent camera bump and an increase in the overall thicker design of 25-35%, due to any new 48MP wide camera systems, as confirmed by reputable Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo.

According to Kuo, Apple will upgrade the front camera of the iPhone 14 series to support autofocus, with an aperture of around f/1.9 to provide better portrait and cinematic shots than the fixed focal length and the f/2.2 aperture of the iPhone 13. In addition, the autofocus function and a wider aperture would provide better depth of field for selfies to improve the quality of the tuned for FaceTime, video calls and live streaming.

Therefore, the latest development shows that the American mobile giant has made significant design changes over the past four generations of iPhones with the visible screen notch, the new pill-and-hole camera and the Face ID cutouts.
