Oppo Find X2 Pro has already established itself as a powerhouse right after launch. The latest flagship of the Chinese brand has been ranked first in the DxOMark rankings for smartphone cameras. The Oppo Find X2 Pro ties in with the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro for the top spot and outperforms the Google Pixel 4 and iPhone 11 Pro Max, DxOMark noted in its camera test review. The independent benchmarking platform gave the Oppo Find X2 Pro an overall score of 124, which is also the Mi 10 Pro. Among the many qualities of its cameras, the Oppo Find X2 Pro has proven to have excellent autofocus performance, beautiful colors and wide dynamic range, as well as excellent image stabilization.
DxOMark flanked the Oppo Find X2 cameras with those from the Mi 10 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max for the camera test. In his test, he also found that although Oppo and Xiaomi had the same position on the map, the latter came to show better texture, rendering and zoom performance in photos and videos. In contrast, the Oppo offers a more balanced performance, with results close to the best we’ve seen in almost any Photo and Video subcategory, DxOMark noted in its results. The main feature that impressed DxOMark reviewers was the Find X2 Pro’s ability to autofocus on objects almost instantly.
But while there is a horde of pros for the Oppo Find X2 Pro, the list of cons is also mentioned. According to DxOMark, the Find X2 Pro couldn’t apply the best HDR on portraits taken indoors. Smartphone cameras also tend to drop detail towards the edge of a mid-range zoom. Even ultra-wide shots sometimes seem less detailed. Videography on the Find X2 Pro also has some drawbacks, depending on the platform. Videos shot on the Oppo Find X2 Pro keep noise out. There are also exposure instabilities in HDR videos. But, the advantages of videos outweigh the disadvantages, the Find X2 Pro has excellent image stabilization, in addition to producing good dynamic range.
The Oppo Find X2 Pro comes with three cameras on the back, a 48-megapixel main sensor with an aperture of f / 1.7 and a 1 / 1.4-inch sensor, a 48-megapixel ultra-wide sensor with an aperture of f / 2.2 and a 13-megapixel periscope sensor that gives 5x optical zoom, which is impressive, according to DxOMark. For selfies, the Oppo Find X2 Pro comes with a 32-megapixel sensor on the front.
