As the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip hits stores and hits people’s doorsteps today, we’ve put together an unbox and camera test with the new device to give you an idea of what you can do. expect if you are among those who decide to buy the new foldable smartphone.
At $ 999, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 is the most affordable foldable on the market, around $ 400 less than what the Galaxy Z Flip 5G sold last year. It’s still not a cheap phone, but I think we can all agree that it’s a much more attractive price when you take a look at the flagship segment as a whole.
Similar to the Galaxy S21 line from earlier this year, the Galaxy Z Flip 3 comes in a much thinner box. The reason is that Samsung chose not to include a charging brick with the phone. Anyone who buys the device will have to use an older charging brick or buy a new one (the UGreen 100W Multi-Device Charger is a great option). You get a USB C charging cable in the box, a SIM card tool, a quick start guide, and a few other documents (mostly from AT&T).
The Galaxy Z Flip 3’s camera hardware doesn’t really stand out, but the device does offer a few unique ways to use them as it offers a cover screen right next to the main and ultra-wide cameras at the outside. This setup will give users great versatility in how they frame their photos, allowing them to take selfies with the outdoor cameras which are significantly better than the 10MP selfie camera indoors.
To give you an idea of the photo and video quality, we also ran a camera test with the Galaxy Z Flip 3. Take a look at the video and the photo gallery to see what the cameras are doing. of the Z Flip 3 can deliver.
